I used CNETs reviews in putting together my new home audio system after my 90s vintage Infinity Ovation speakers were fried by a power surge at my house. I wound up with a beautiful system built around a speaker brand recommended by CNET (ELAC) that I had never heard of, which balances terrific sound within a reasonable budget.
